The good: chicken fried steak was surprisingly tasty. Plenty of gravy with enough left over to use fries and toast to clean up the plate.
The queso was barely more than nacho cheese. Would come back for the chicken fried steak only, but queso is how I judge Mexican restaurants, and this was sorely lacking.
The toast was not fully toasted.
So, the service was very attentive and kind, this is why the 2*. I had the enchilada plate with the green sauce on the side, It was un-palatable. I ate one but of the cheese one bite of a chicken and fed my husband one bite of the chicken to make sure it wasn't just me. The food was dry and without flavor. I was told this was due to being cooked with the sauce on the side. Oh well, I will not return!
The chicken enchiladas were dry.
The service was good, but when they are not real busy the waitress could come over and check on their customer more frequently. The food tastes good. There is a great selection of food to choose from. I would like to thank the staff for the good dinning experience.
Maybe I am spoiled, but the only thing that qualifies this as Mexican food is it's shape. The salsa was sweet. Sweet! I have never heard of a sweet salsa. After inquiring about a hot verity; I was informed that they had some, but it was not free. Not necessarily in those exact words. They were not rude to me. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. That is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. It definitely lacks luster as far as food is concerned if you enjoy a very Bland ""Mexican"" food. Then this place is for you. If you want some spice I don't recommend this place at all.
I agree that the salsa is a bit tomatoey, but ask for the hotter stuff. It's amazing. Food was fresh and incredibly delicious. Fantastic service! We'll be back.
The French fries are generic bag fries.
The kids grilled cheese was done well.
