The museum is constantly updating exhibits and putting new things on display. They also have speakers every month. And even a little museum store with unique items. To top it all off the admission to the museum and the presenters are FREE
I really enjoy this museum. They do a great job of showcasing the important events in Scurry county history, and have a good selection of temporary exhibits and events that keep the community coming back. And a big part of the draw is the staff. Their enthusiasm for the museum makes visiting there a real joy.
Grandson and I loved our visit. He played at the interactive museum badge table while I traversed the new School days exhibit!! Great job!
